Sydney (Warrane)
Looking across Botany Bay to Sydney skyscape from Kurnell Beach
We are now in Sydney - staying at Sydney Tourist Park in Miranda - kind of in between the airport and Cronulla.
Driving in Sydney traffic isn't much fun, but we've managed, with only a couple of wrong turns so far resulting in a little extra travel time. Not easy when coming into intersections with 5 to 6 lanes turning in various directions!
We visited Kurnell dog beach yesterday to give Pedro a run and Ari a dip in the water. That is an interesting place on Botany Bay - constant planes flying very low overhead into and out of Sydney airport, looking across to Sydney city skyscape, dolphins, and work boats (including the tow vehicle getting bogged).
St Johns, Camden NSW
Before coming here, we stayed at Poplar Caravan Park, Elderslie (next to Camden). This gave us closer proximity to my Aunt and Uncle in Glenfield. We also had some airbags fitted to the rear suspension of our car at Pedders Moorebank, in the hope of balancing the car better.
We'll be heading into the city today to see the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, as long as we can find somewhere to park the car!
